YOU ARE INHERENTLY UNIQUE. You have a unique life story, and you have a unique voice. A voice that has been meticulously designed for you by the Father, enabling you to share God’s love with the rest of the world, in a unique way. Isn’t that beautiful!
Some people use their voice literally- through speaking or preaching or singing. Take Caleb, my Husband, as an example. He is an excellent musician and his beautiful worship ministers to the hearts of the hearers, enabling them to experience the love of God. The way he is able to usher in the Presence constantly amazes me!
For me, my unique voice comes out in my writing. I love words. They are a powerful tool that enables us to connect with, love-on and encourage people.
Ever since I was little, I have kept diaries, crafted stories, and written poetry and letters. Writing is also one of the primary ways that the LORD enjoys speaking to me. Sometimes we can be so focussed on trying to hear the LORD audibly that we can miss the unique way He has chosen to speak to us.
The Importance of Your Unique Voice
Maybe your unique voice comes through art or dance or your ability to problem solve. It is valuable, not because of how it reveals itself, but because it is a gift from the LORD!
If you don’t use it – it is a gift lost. A gift wasted. A gift unshared with the world. And more than that – it results in a people unreached. A people who would’ve felt the love of God had you used your voice.
And that’s not meant to be scary! It’s meant to be empowering!
Let the Lord come alongside you and help you to raise your unique voice and shout the love of God to the world.
